Informatica is a leading provider of data management solutions, specializing in cloud data integration, data quality, and data governance. As they continue to scale their products, the team wants to move their design system from Sketch to Figma and revamp their design structure, focusing on usability and scalability, while also refining components to support lean and adaptable workflows.
The Helium 10 members portal and dashboard was the focus area for growth initiatives in order to increase user retention and evidently business revenue. Design tasks centered primarily around the user onboarding and member dashboard experiences.
Create an updated, centralized design system in Figma with dynamic components by following the atomic design model. While migrating components from Sketch to Figma, optimize the UX of new and existing components. Optimize components to adhere to accessibility guidelines.
• Build design system components in Figma to improve usability and scalability
• Improve on UX patterns to meet user needs and align with engineering
• Review and test components
• Iterate on components based on user feedback and analytics data
• Create documentation and guidelines
