Engarde is a native iOS and Android mobile application where users can compete against each other in video games and earn money based on a user-generated prize pool.
The Helium 10 members portal and dashboard was the focus area for growth initiatives in order to increase user retention and evidently business revenue. Design tasks centered primarily around the user onboarding and member dashboard experiences.
Design a user-friendly mobile application that takes a unique approach to esports, making it available to the everyday gamer. Users should be able to play quick matches for quick money instead of having to train as esports professionals.
I was the UI/UX designer on this project responsible for brainstorming ideas based on requirements and user research data. I also played a large part in defining the UI and visual components used.
In conclusion, I worked to define the UI and visual design for this app. I also helped to guide some of the UX direction and support the iterative process of developing and releasing the product.
This version was built out and the beta version was released to the iOS App store and Android Play store. Next steps would be to continue gathering user feedback and iterating on this to make it easier to use before a full release to the public.
